October Forum Outcomes
The recent online virtual October Forum had 49 registered participants. Unfortunately there were several last minute apologies that reduced this number to 42.
The 4 YouTube videos shown below provide an opportunity for all GM&B members to view again, at their leisure, the four main segments of the published agenda.
All participants were grateful to Dr Tony Mordini, our new Principal, for his enthusiastic and uplifting presentation about the school, its students and its exciting future. The MHS Council President, Mr Henry McLaughlin provided reassurance about the role of the Council and the role of its GM&B members in its four working committees.
Colin Green, Executive Officer, outlined the adopted new membership structures to address declining GM&B membership over the past decade. This was well supported by participants.
Wayne Chow, the Junior Leadership convener, outlined the current state of the very successful JLP joint venture with Palladians, the past students association of Mac.Robertson Girls’ HIgh School.
Honorary School Archivist Luke Savage provided a most worthwhile insight to his outstanding work on the school’s memorabilia collection. Great work Luke!
The 4 YouTube video are sectioned segments of the Forums. With the listing of the many chat items raised your Executive will be working through these at its next meeting in November. Following this members will receive an online survey seeking further opinions about matters raised at the Forum.
Thanks to all who supported this Forum. Very positive feedback from participants has been most encouraging.
