Role, Application and the Impact of Artificial Intelligence in the Future
In newspapers and social media sites Artificial Intelligence and its application in the business and educational sectors is portrayed as either a time saving, creative revolution or the precursor to the end of human thinking.
Easy to use sites allow for business documents to be produced in a matter of seconds that would normally require an hour or two of drafting. Small companies are training Artificial Intelligence sites to undertake the data analysis of CVs and select suitable candidates for work tasks in a minute saving 4-5 days of laborious human analysis. Of course the educational sector is facing the challenge of determining real student papers from those produced using Artificial Intelligence.
To make sense of the potential and some of the shortfalls inherent in Artificial Intelligence the GM&B have enlisted the support of Rick Wylie – Founder & CEO of KeyOptions. (www.keyoptions.com)
KeyOptions, is a technology company and Rick has 30 years’ experience working in technology innovation & integration and technology advisory. Holding a BSc from Sydney University (Physics/Pure Maths), Rick has a wealth of experience in systems integration, server technologies and systems information security, systems analysis, geospatial information system and analytics. He has worked in the US, Middle East, Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Nordics and Latin America.
Rick and KeyOptions deliver world class solutions to clients, focused around technology innovation for a number of industry segments, both Government and Corporate. He has built up his experience in a number of disciplines over the years, solving complex integration and systems problems, forensics, RF detections and more recently with real-time and Internet of Things (IOT) analytics.
Rick will highlight how Artificial Intelligence is used to analyse complex data packages allowing managers to make more informed decisions and how this decision making process can further inform the Artificial Intelligence application.
