Volunteering Victoria supports GM&B Program

- 5.50 – 6.00: Welcome and outline (P-iC Daryl Brooks)
- 6.00 – 6.30: Dr Tony Mordini, MHS Principal. Update on school matters and some thoughts about the 2027 centenary at Forrest Hill
- 6.30 – 7.00: Volunteering Victoria (Sara Sterling)
*The work of Volunteering Victoria in its support for member organisations
*The nature of the recent impact of Covid19 restrictions on volunteering generally
*The importance of anticipated 2022 resumption of volunteering and industry prospects going forward
*The appetite for volunteering in the community, or the apprehension that remains
*Existing or customised VV training programs or courses that could be of assistance to our GM&B alumni-sourced volunteers upon whom we rely to run current and future programs such as:Junior Leadership Program, Mentoring Program, Heritage, School Centenary celebrations support, School Community Wellbeing support, Entrepreneurship Program support, GM&B representation on School Council working committees etc.
*Ways in which GM&B may be able to optimise its membership value and ongoing relationship with VV going forward to support new needs and initiatives as they arise. - 7.00 – 7.30: Dinner
- 7.30 – 8.10: Table groups chatting about presentation
- 8.10 – 8.25: Hello Club overview (EO, Colin Green)
- 8.25 – 8.30: Summing Up / Acknowledgements / Diary Dates (Daryl Brooks)
** Live stream available for remote members – 5.50 pm-7.00 pm. The invitation will be emailed only by request from those members who can’t attend in person but who wish to view/listen via webcam.
