EO Colin Green, in the absence of P-i-C John MacIntosh through illness, opened the forum and welcomed Principal Jeremy Ludowyke and Phil Harbutt, the President of School Council. The theme for the evening is JL’s MHS 2030 document previously circulated.
Phil Harbutt spoke of the draft proposal and the work undertaken by Council in reaching this stage.
Principal Jeremy Ludowyke then presented an overview of the draft proposal, supported by a PowerPoint presentation that highlighted key provocations that arise in each of the five areas of the report. Initial questions were discussed prior to moving to five dinner tables. These tables would then be allocated to consider one of the five areas. Colin Green allocated these discussion areas once people were all seated and awaiting dinner.
